Communities and Events

Chartered in 1999, the Queensland Chapter’s members are employed across a wide range of industries such as mining, energy, infrastructure, government, technology, and financial services. Such diversity stimulates innovation and a strong desire to champion change. This Chapter has instigated several new initiatives, most notably is the Project Management Day of Service. This program first ran in 2016 and again in 2017, providing many charities with access to project professionals who helped advise and plan activities or components of their organisation’s initiatives. They are proud to have hosted the PMI Australia Conference in 2015 which highlighted the many successful projects conducted by project professionals, worthy of being recognised on the world’s
stage.
