The Project Economy is a term coined by PMI in 2019, in its 50th anniversary year. It is the future, the evolution and the extension of project management to improve society, and the capabilities of organizations and people to make ideas a reality. We will see existing and upcoming components under umbrella of The Project Economy, like BIM (Building Information Modeling), OT (Organizational Transformation) and others.

Humans are at the core of The Project Economy, in teams that deliver change, as users that need or receive change and society at large to become better for all. Leadership is needed more than ever in times of disruption, and it will serve humanity best if leaders act ethically.
