About This Event

Summer 2026 is just around the corner, bringing with it the vibrant spirit echoed in the song “Mùa Hè Xanh” by musician Vũ Hoàng:
“Mùa hè xanh, mùa hè xanh
Bao yêu thương ơi mùa hè xanh vấn vương”.

Inspired by this energy, the PMI Vietnam Chapter Board of Directors (BoD) for the 2024–2026 term, from both the North and the South, has decided to gather in the beautiful coastal city of Đà Nẵng.

This event aims to connect with the broader project management community in Central Vietnam, and especially with PMI members and professionals in Đà Nẵng, with the following objectives:

  • Strengthen networking and expand the PMI Vietnam community in Central Vietnam and Đà Nẵng
  • Recruit local Leaders in Đà Nẵng to lead and grow PMI community activities in the region
  • Build long-term connections between the Đà Nẵng community and the nationwide PMI Vietnam network, promoting continuous learning and knowledge exchange in project management

PMI Vietnam Chapter is pleased to announce that on March 25, 2026, the Chapter will officially sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Faculty of Economics – Banking Academy, marking a significant milestone in advancing project management education and capability development in Vietnam.

This partnership will aim to bridge global project management standards with academic learning, enhancing students’ readiness for professional careers.

✨ Notably, this will be the second university partnership of PMI Vietnam Chapter.
Previously, the Chapter collaborated with Hanoi University of Civil Engineering to establish the PMI Vietnam Chapter Student Club, laying the foundation for a growing student project management community.

From now until 01 January 2027, let’s run together to promote the spirit of
Healthy PMs for Healthy Projects.

🎯 Challenge Goals

 

    • Accumulate at least 20.26 km per month (Gregorian calendar year)

    • Accumulate an additional 25.69 km per quarter (Buddhist calendar year 2026)

📋 LỘ TRÌNH HOẠT ĐỘNG “TRẠM ĐỌC” HÀNG THÁNG

(Bắt đầu từ ngày 17/01/2026)

Để việc đọc không còn “ngại”, chúng mình đã thiết kế một lộ trình bài bản:

    1. Đọc theo chủ đề: Mỗi tháng một chủ đề, nội dung sách được chia nhỏ theo từng tuần giúp bạn dễ dàng hoàn thành.

    1. Submit góc nhìn: Cuối mỗi tuần, thành viên gửi tóm tắt và cảm nhận qua Google Form để lưu giữ giá trị của riêng mình.

    1. Thử thách Zalo: Hàng tuần, BTC sẽ tóm tắt nội dung cốt lõi và đưa ra các Thử thách hành động ngay trên nhóm Zalo cộng đồng.

    1. Thảo luận Offline/Online: Buổi Meeting cuối tháng là nơi chúng ta ngồi lại, cùng mổ xẻ các góc nhìn khác nhau về toàn bộ cuốn sách.

    1. Góp sức xây kho tri thức: Tự do chia sẻ những đầu sách hay vào Thư viện dùng chung (Google Drive) của Club.

    1. Quyền lực thành viên: Chính bạn sẽ là người đề xuất và bình chọn những cuốn sách tiếp theo hoặc tham gia dẫn dắt cuốn sách.

Recap: PM888_Trump Tariffs & the China–USA New Cold War – PM Opportunities

The PM888 session brought together 12 participants for an engaging and insightful discussion on how global geopolitical and economic shifts are shaping opportunities for project managers.

Session Highlights

The presentation was structured into two key parts:

Part One: Hypothesis & Conclusion – Is Vietnam a Tiger Economy?

This section explored a critical question:
Can Vietnam grow and develop in a similar way to South Korea and Taiwan during their “Tiger Economy” era?

Participants examined Vietnam’s economic foundations, growth drivers, and structural challenges, setting the stage for deeper discussion and analysis.

Part Two: The Future of Vietnam

The second part focused on current global events impacting Vietnam, including:

Trump-era tariffs

The evolving China–USA New Cold War

These factors were analyzed in terms of their implications for Vietnam’s economy and the expanding role of project managers in navigating uncertainty, risk, and opportunity.

Roundtable Discussion

Participants actively joined the roundtable discussion, sharing perspectives, asking questions, and connecting theory with real-world project management practice.
