HOẠT ĐỘNG OUTREACH TẠI ĐẠI HỌC HUTECH NGÀY 20/10/2023

Ngày 20/10/2023, PMI Vietnam Chapter phối hợp cùng với Đại học HUTECH tổ chức workshop với chủ đề “Project Management Excellent: A Comprehesive Overview of PMI-PMP International Standards”.

Hội thảo được Team Outreach PMI Vietnam Chapter thiết kế và phối hợp cùng trường HUTECH – Đại học Công nghệ Tp.HCM tổ chức đặc biệt dành cho các bạn sinh viên Khoa Xây dựng, với mong muốn kết nối, giới thiệu và định hướng đến các bạn sinh viên ngành quản lý dự án nói chung và QLDA Xây dựng nói riêng theo chuẩn của Viện Quản lý dự án Hoa Kỳ (Project Management Institute, gọi tắt là PMI), Chi Hội Việt Nam (PMI Vietnam Chapter).

Tham gia hội thảo, về phía Đại học HUTECH có Thầy Võ Minh Thiện – Trưởng khoa Xây dựng, Thầy Nguyễn Việt Tuấn – Chủ nhiệm Bộ môn thi công, và các Thầy thuộc Khoa Xây dựng. Về phía PMI Vietnam Chapter, có các Ông Lê Văn – Deputy Director Outreach, ông Đỗ Khắc Lê Minh – Manager Membership & Communication, ông Mai Quốc Khánh – Membership & Communication, ông Quách Lê Trương – PP Team Leader.
 
Tổng quan nội dung buổi Workshop:
 
Phần 1 : Giới thiệu
Các diễn giả đến từ Team Outreach của PMI Vietnam Chapter là các chuyên gia có nhiều năm kinh nghiệm về chuyên môn và quản lý dự án (QLDA) thuộc nhiều lĩnh vực đã trình bày các chủ đề:
• Ông Mai Quốc Khánh giới thiệu với sinh viên về PMI và Vietnam Chapter; những lợi ích của tư cách thành viên của PMI và các chứng chỉ do PMI cấp, đặc biệt là chứng chỉ nổi tiếng PMP. Ông Khánh còn cho biết các yêu cầu đầu vào, lộ trình đăng ký, ôn luyện và thi chứng chỉ PMP.
• Ông Quách Lê Trương chia sẻ đến sinh viên Khái niệm cơ bàn Khung kiến thức QLDA, các lĩnh vực kiến thức và các quy trình QLDA theo chuẩn của PMI.
• Các case-studies (tình huống thực tế) áp dụng lý thuyết QLDA và quản lý nguy cơ / rủi ro (risk management) trong các dự án mà các chuyên gia từ PMI Vietnam Chapter đã trải qua và giải quyết thành công được Ông Đỗ Khắc Lê Minh và Ông Lê Văn chia sẻ.
 
Phần 2 : Giao lưu – Questions & Answer
• Các diễn giả đã giải đáp các câu hỏi sát sườn không chỉ từ sinh viên của Trường, mà còn của các Thầy về khung năng lực của người QLDA theo chuẩn PMI, thủ tục đăng ký, ôn luyện thi chứng chỉ PMP, giá trị của chứng chỉ PMP trong thị trường lao động hiện nay.
• Mr. Lê Văn đã tổ chức khảo sát trực tuyến tại chỗ cho sinh viên với các câu hỏi: “Mô tả người QLDA chuyên nghiệp trong một từ” và nhận được những câu trả lời rất đa dạng, chính xác cùng những câu trả lời đời thường đầy bất ngờ và thú vị, cho thấy được góc nhìn từ sinh viên đối với vai trò của người QLDA chuyên nghiệp.
 
Kết thúc buổi workshop, đại diện nhà trường mong muốn sẽ có thêm những buổi Workshop chuyên đề thực nghiệm để sinh viên có thêm nhiều kiến thức, trải nghiệm và tự tin trong công việc tương lai sau khi tốt nghiệp.

On October 20, 2023, PMI Vietnam Chapter organized a workshop “Project Management Excellence: Comprehensive overview of the PMP and PMI’s Project Management Standard”, in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology / HUTECH.

The workshop was designed for students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, with the aim of introducing Project Management Institute (PMI), its chapters (including PMI Vietnam Chapter), its project management principle as well as its certifications; and drew a possible career pathway for them.

Participating in the conference, from HUTECH University, there were Mr. Vo Minh Thien – Head of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Mr. Nguyen Viet Tuan and other teachers of the faculty. On the PMI Vietnam Chapter side, there were Mr. Le Van – Deputy Director Outreach, Mr. Do Khac Le Minh – Manager Membership & Communication, Mr. Mai Quoc Khanh – Membership & Communication, Mr. Quach Le Truong – Project Professional Team Leader.

Speakers from PMI Vietnam Chapter, who are experienced specialists in their fields, presented the following topics:

  • Introduction to PMI and Vietnam Chapter; the benefits of PMI membership and certifications issued by PMI.
  • Overview of project management, knowledge areas and project management processes according to PMI standards.
  • Case-studies and risk management in projects that they faced while running their projects and successfully resolved.

Part 2 of the workshop is a Q &A session.

  • The speakers answered questions not only from the University’s students, but also from the teachers about the competency framework of project managers according to PMI standards, PMP exam registration procedures, PMP certification exam preparation, and values of PMP certification in today’s labor market.
  • Mr. Le Van released an online survey for students with the questions: “Describe a professional project manager in one word” and received very diverse and accurate answers along with real-life answers. full of surprises and fun, showing a student’s perspective on the role of a professional project manager.

At the end of the workshop, HUTECH side hoped there will be more workshops so that students would have more information and knowledge to prepare for future success.

Vừa qua, trong hoạt động giao lưu chuyên môn giữa PMI Region 9 và PMI Region 15, với sự kết nối của Mr. Danny Chung, PMI Region 9 Mentor, PMI Mongolia Chapter đã mời PMI Vietnam Chapter cử đại diện tham dự INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE 2023 tại Ulaanbaatar từ ngày 13 – 14/10/2023.

Mr. Lê Khắc Nhiên An, PP Team Leader, đại diện cho PMI Vietnam Chapter đã tham gia sự kiện nói trên với bài trình bày tại workshop với chủ đề “Quản lý sự thay đổi trong chuyển đổi số / Change Management for Digital Transformation” và tham gia 2 buổi thảo luận nhóm (Panel Discussion) với các chủ đề “Chiến lược của dự án đồng hành cùng chiến lược của tổ chức / Projects and Organizational Strategy Coming Together” và “Tạo lập lộ trình nghề nghiệp cho nhà quản lý dự án trẻ / Creating a Career Path as a Young Project Manager”.

Hoạt động của anh An tại sự kiện là khởi đầu cho các giao lưu rộng hơn trong tương lai giữa các khu vực và các chapter bạn trong khu vực Châu Á – Thái Bình Dương.

EXCHANGE ACTIVITIES BETWEEN PMI MONGOLIA CHAPTER AND PMI VIETNAM CHAPTER

Recently, in order to exchange activities between PMI Region 9 and PMI Region 15, with the connection of Mr. Danny Chung, PMI Region 9 Mentor, PMI Mongolia Chapter invited a representative of PMI Vietnam Chapter to attend the 2023 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE in Ulaanbaatar from 13 – 14 Oct, 2023.

Mr. Le Khac Nhien An, PP Team Leader, representing PMI Vietnam Chapter, participated in the above-mentioned event and presented at the workshop with the topic “Change management for digital transformation” and participated in 2 panel discussions with the topics of “Projects and organizational strategy work together” and “Creating a career path as a Young Project Manager”.

Mr. An’s activities at the event was the beginning of future broader exchange activities between Chapters within the Asia-Pacific region.

[Recap – Online Event] ADPTIVE HR: THRIVING IN AGILE TECHNOLOGY ENVIRONMENTS

Ngày 18/10/2023, PMI Vietnam Chapter đã tổ chức buổi workshop online với chủ đề “Quản lý nhân sự thích ứng: bí kíp thành công của các công ty công nghệ trở nên linh hoạt” / Adptive HR: Thriving in Agile Technology Environments.

Hai diễn giả khách mời là Ms. Ngân Nguyễn, MBA, SHRM – SCP, Giám đốc Nhân sự Công ty FORTNA và Ms. My Nguyễn, MBA, Giám đốc Chương trình Nhân sự | Đối tác Nhân sự (People Program Manager | People Partner), Công ty Inspectorio.

Trong bối cảnh hiện nay, các ngành nghề trên thị trường (như xây dựng, IT, kinh doanh, v.v…) đang chuyển mình nhanh chóng để thích ứng trong thời kỳ biến động, với tư duy và cách làm linh hoạt (Agile / Agility). Theo các diễn giả, ngành nhân sự cũng không nằm ngoài xu hướng đó.

Theo đó, công tác quản trị nhân sự giờ đây không chỉ là làm bảng lương, chế độ phúc lợi, đào tạo nhân sự,… mà giờ đây, tuyển dụng còn đồng nghĩa với việc xây dựng thương hiệu tuyển dụng, phát hiện và giữ chân nhân tài, và quan trọng hơn hết là phát triển nguồn nhân lực cho doanh nghiệp.

Khi trao đổi về cách thức quản lý nhân sự để hướng tới sự minh bạch, đồng bộ, một số các phương pháp, công cụ mà các diễn giả gợi ý, và thực tế đang triển khai tại đơn vị công tác của mình là: hiết lập Mục tiêu & Chỉ tiêu đo lường (Objectives & Key Results – viết tắt là OKR). Để OKR hoạt động được hiệu quả, các diễn giả cho biết ngay khi đặt mục tiêu và các chỉ tiêu đo lường, đơn vị cũng cần đầu tư và cân nhắc để đưa ra những vấn đề có lợi cho doanh nghiệp, hữu ích cho việc quản trị nhân lực.

Ngoài ra, việc đào tạo, hướng dẫn các cán bộ sử dụng công cụ đánh giá cũng cần được triển khai nhằm tăng tính hiệu quả của công cụ. Khi có sự tham gia của số liệu minh bạch, và sự cân đối giữa cảm tính và con số, sẽ tăng được khả năng đánh giá nhân lực công bằng, và phù hợp với mục tiêu kinh doanh cũng như xây dựng văn hóa của doanh nghiệp.

Việc nhân sự rời bỏ công ty, theo Ms. Ngân cũng cần suy nghĩ theo hướng tích cực: công ty có cơ hội để thâu nhận các nhân sự mới, để làm năng động thêm đội ngũ nhân sự hiện tại. Ngược lại, nhân sự có cơ hội để thử sức và phát triển tại môi trường mới.

Trao đổi thêm, Ms. My Nguyễn chia sẻ: “các chuyên viên nhân sự cần tích hợp các chức năng nhân sự nhanh hơn, trực tiếp tham gia cùng với bộ phận các chức năng trong vận hành. Các hoạt động nhân sự cần xem nhân viên như khách hàng nội bộ và các công tác nhân sự cũng có thể được xử lý như kiểu dự án, theo tư duy Agile, việc đánh giá nhận xét nhân viên cũng cần linh hoạt hơn, giúp nhân viên kịp thời phát huy các điểm mạnh và khắc phục sớm các hạn chế, giúp cho công việc của cá nhân nhân sự đó và đội nhóm được tốt hơn”.

Về xu hướng của ngành nhân sự trong tương lai, Ms. Ngân cũng chia sẻ: “Trí tuệ nhân tạo (Artificial Intelligent – AI) đã tác động đến đến ngành nhân sự, và những người làm nhân sự cũng phải cập nhật có chọn lọc và trang bị cho mình để theo kịp xu hướng mới.
