PMI Professional Awards là những giải thưởng danh giá của PMI, được trao thưởng hàng năm. I. VỀ CÁC GIẢI THƯỞNG

1. Tôn vinh thành tựu xuất sắc:

PMI Professional Awards tôn vinh và công nhận những cá nhân, tổ chức và cộng đồng đã đạt được thành tựu xuất sắc với các nguyên tắc quản lý dự án mẫu mực trong môi trường chuyên nghiệp. Đây là cơ hội để những người làm việc trong ngành quản lý dự án được công nhận và khích lệ để tiếp tục phát triển.

2. Ghi nhận những dự án xuất sắc:

Giải thưởng PMI Project of the Year tôn vinh những dự án đã thực hiện thành công và có ảnh hưởng tích cực đến cộng đồng và ngành nghề, công nhận sự xuất sắc trong thực tiễn quản lý dự án bao gồm các kết quả vượt trội của tổ chức, sự đổi mới và tác động tích cực đến xã hội. Điều này không chỉ tạo động lực cho các nhà quản lý dự án, mà còn truyền cảm hứng cho người khác trong ngành.

3. Khám phá những xu hướng mới:

PMI Professional Awards không chỉ tôn vinh những thành tựu đã có, mà còn thúc đẩy sự phát triển và khám phá những xu hướng mới trong lĩnh vực quản lý dự án. Bạn có thể tìm hiểu về những phương pháp, công nghệ và thực tiễn mới nhất trong ngành.

Hầu hết các dự án đều được thực hiện bởi các Ban QDLA (PMOs), hoặc các đội dự án, và các kết quả xuất sắc đến từ việc phối hợp ăn ý nhịp nhàng của các thành viên. PMI Professional Awards tôn vinh tinh thần đồng đội xuất sắc đằng sau những dự án làm thay đổi thế giới của chúng ta.

Việc giành được giải thưởng có uy tín và được công bố rộng rãi có thể giúp các tổ chức / cá nhân tiếp cận được nhiều đối tượng hơn và thu hút khách hàng mới.

II. ĐIỀU KIỆN VÀ THỦ TỤC ĐỂ NỘP ĐỀ CỬ ĐỐI VỚI CÁC GIẢI THƯỞNG

Để tham gia PMI Professional Awards, trước tiên bạn cần là thành viên của PMI (Project Management Institute). Dưới đây là các bước chung để apply một giải thưởng PMI Professional Awards:

Bước 1. Đảm bảo bạn đáp ứng yêu cầu: Kiểm tra các yêu cầu và tiêu chí tham gia của từng giải thưởng trong PMI Professional Awards. Hãy đảm bảo rằng bạn đáp ứng đủ các yêu cầu về dự án, thành tựu và phạm vi của giải thưởng bạn muốn apply. Mỗi giải thưởng khác nhau sẽ có yêu cầu khác nhau để đáp ứng.

Bước 2. Chuẩn bị tài liệu: Thu thập và chuẩn bị tài liệu cần thiết cho việc apply. Việc này có thể bao gồm mô tả dự án, mô tả thành tựu, tài liệu chứng minh, chứng chỉ và bất kỳ thông tin nào liên quan đến dự án và thành tựu của bạn. Mỗi giải thưởng khác nhau cũng sẽ có yêu cầu khác nhau về tài liệu.

Bước 3. Hoàn thành đơn đăng ký: Truy cập vào trang web để apply giải thưởng PMI (https://pmiprofessional.awardsplatform.com) và điền đơn đăng ký online cho PMI Professional Awards. Đảm bảo bạn điền đầy đủ và chính xác thông tin yêu cầu tương ứng với giải thưởng PMI ứng cử.

Bước 4. Gửi tài liệu: Gửi tài liệu và thông tin cần thiết theo hướng dẫn của PMI. Đảm bảo bạn tuân thủ các quy định đặc biệt của từng giải thưởng và gửi đúng thời hạn.

Bước 5. Đợi kết quả: Sau khi gửi đơn đăng ký và tài liệu, bạn sẽ phải đợi quá trình đánh giá và xét duyệt từ PMI. Thời gian xét duyệt có thể khác nhau tùy thuộc vào từng giải thưởng.

Bước 6. Thông báo kết quả: Khi quyết định cuối cùng được đưa ra, PMI sẽ thông báo kết quả cho bạn. Nếu bạn/người mà bạn ứng cử được chọn, bạn sẽ nhận được sự công nhận và tôn vinh từ PMI Professional Awards.

Các giải thưởng của 2024 PMI Professional Awards bao gồm:

1. PMI Project of the Year Award (Dự án của năm): Giải thưởng này tôn vinh các dự án phức tạp, đạt được kết quả xuất sắc và thành công trong lĩnh vực quản lý dự án. Đây là giải thưởng cao nhất của PMI dành cho các dự án đạt được thành tựu đáng kể và ảnh hưởng tích cực đến cộng đồng.

Sẽ có 3 giải thưởng trong mục Dự án của năm, bao gồm:

  • PMI Technology Project Award (Dự án Công nghệ)
  • PMI Social Project Award (Dự án xã hội)
  • PMI Construction/Infrastructure/Engineering Project Award (Dự án Xây dựng / Hạ tầng / Kỹ thuật)

Tuy nhiên PMI vẫn có thể không trao giải, nếu các ứng viên không đáp ứng được tiêu chí của giải thưởng

Thủ tục xét giải gồm có 2 bước chính:

 + Ứng viên viết và nộp một bài luận 2000 từ về dự án của mình. Nhóm đánh giá, bao gồm một nhóm tình nguyện viên PMI và các chuyên gia, sẽ chọn ra một nhóm ứng cử viên lọt vào vòng vòng phỏng vấn.

 + Nhóm ứng cử viên lọt vào vòng phỏng vấn sẽ thuyết trình online trong vòng 1 giờ với các thành viên trong ban đánh giá, trong khoảng thời gian từ ngày 20-31/5/2024. Sau vòng phỏng vấn này, 01 dự án xuất sắc cho từng hạng mục sẽ được vinh danh là Dự án của năm 2024.

2. PMI Fellow Award: Giải thưởng cá nhân cao nhất, uy tín nhất do PMI trao tặng để tri ân sự phục vụ của các cá nhân đó cho PMI và nghiệp vụ quản lý dự án. PMI không giới hạn số lượng giải PMI Fellow Award được trao mỗi năm. PMI vẫn có thể không trao giải, nếu các ứng viên không đáp ứng được tiêu chí của giải thưởng (Giải này không cho phép tự ứng cử).

Thủ tục xét giải:

Tất cả các ứng viên nộp đơn xin Giải thưởng PMI Fellow phải nộp đề cử theo dạng bài luận dài 2.000 từ và các tài liệu có liên quan. Những người lọt vào vòng chung kết sẽ được thông báo vào hoặc trước ngày 20 tháng 5 năm 2024, và sẽ được phỏng vấn online trong vòng 1 giờ, khoảng từ ngày 03 – 14/6/2024 với hội đồng xét giải. Sau vòng phỏng vấn này, các cá nhân xuất sắc cho sẽ được chọn trao giải PMI Fellow Award năm 2024.

3. PMI Eric Jenett Person of the Year Award: Giải thưởng này tôn vinh những cá nhân đã có những đóng góp xuất sắc cho nghề quản lý dự án hoặc thực tiễn của nó thông qua khả năng lãnh đạo, quản lý dự án kỹ thuật cũng như sự nhạy bén trong quản lý chiến lược và kinh doanh. PMI không giới hạn số lượng giải PMI Eric Jenett Person of the Year Award được trao mỗi năm. PMI vẫn có thể không trao giải, nếu các ứng viên không đáp ứng được tiêu chí của giải thưởng (Giải này không cho phép tự ứng cử).

I. ABOUT THE AWARDS

1. Honoring outstanding achievements:

PMI Professional Awards honor and recognize individuals, organizations and communities who have achieved excellence with exemplary project management principles in a professional environment. This is an opportunity for those working in the project management industry to be recognized and encouraged to continue growing.

2. Recognition of excellent projects:

The PMI Project of the Year Awards honor projects that have been successfully implemented and have had a positive impact on the community and industry, recognizing excellence in project management practices including outstanding results of organization, innovation and positive impact on society. This not only motivates project managers, but also inspires others in the industry.

3. Discover new trends:

PMI Professional Awards not only honor existing achievements, but also promote development and explore new trends in the field of project management. You can learn about the latest methods, technology and practices in the industry.

4. Honoring team spirit:

Most projects are carried out by PMOs, or project teams, and excellent results come from the well-coordinated coordination of members. PMI Professional Awards celebrate the exceptional teamwork behind projects that change our world.

II. CONDITIONS AND PROCEDURES FOR SUBMITTING NOMINATIONS FOR THE AWARDS

To participate in PMI Professional Awards, you first need to be a member of PMI (Project Management Institute). Below are the general steps to apply for a PMI Professional Awards:

Step 1. Make sure you meet the requirements: Check the requirements and participation criteria for each award in the PMI Professional Awards. Make sure you meet the project, achievement and scope requirements of the award you want to apply for. Each different award will have different requirements to meet.

Step 2. Prepare documents: Collect and prepare necessary documents for application. This can include project descriptions, accomplishments descriptions, supporting documents, certificates, and any other information related to your projects and accomplishments. Each different award will also have different document requirements.

Step 3. Complete the application: Visit the website to apply for PMI awards (https://pmiprofessional.awardsplatform.com) and fill out the online application for PMI Professional Awards. Make sure you fill out completely and accurately the required information corresponding to the PMI award you are applying for.

Step 4. Submit documents: Submit necessary documents and information according to PMI instructions. Make sure you comply with the special rules of each award and submit on time.

Step 5. Wait for results: After submitting your application and documents, you will have to wait for the review and approval process from PMI. Processing time may vary depending on each award.

Step 6. Notification of results: When the final decision is made, PMI will notify you of the results. If you/your nominee is selected, you will receive recognition and honor from the PMI Professional Awards.

The 2024 PMI Professional Awards include:

1. PMI Project of the Year Award: This award honors complex projects that achieve excellent results and success in the field of project management. This is PMI’s highest award for projects that achieve significant achievements and positively impact the community.

There will be 3 awards in the Project of the Year category, including:

  • PMI Technology Project Award (Technology Project)
  • PMI Social Project Award (Social Project)
  • PMI Construction/Infrastructure/Engineering Project Award (Construction / Infrastructure / Engineering Project)

However, PMI may still not award the award, if the candidates do not meet the award criteria

The award procedure includes 2 main steps:

  • Candidates write and submit a 2000 word essay about their project. The evaluation team, including a group of PMI volunteers and experts, will select a group of candidates who will qualify for the interview round.
  • The group of candidates shortlisted for the interview round will present online for 1 hour with members of the evaluation committee, during the period from May 20-31, 2024. After this round of interviews, 01 excellent project for each category will be honored as Project of the Year 2024.

2. PMI Fellow Award: The highest and most prestigious individual award given by PMI to thank those individuals for their service to PMI and the project management profession. PMI does not limit the number of PMI Fellow Awards awarded each year. PMI may still not award awards, if candidates do not meet the award criteria (This award does not allow self-nomination).

Award procedure:

All candidates applying for the PMI Fellow Award must submit a nomination in the form of a 2,000-word essay and related documents. Finalists will be notified on or before May 20, 2024, and will be interviewed online within 1 hour, approximately from June 3 – 14, 2024 with the award committee. After this interview round, outstanding individuals will be selected for the PMI Fellow Award in 2024.

3. Kết lại một năm đầy ắp các hoạt động sôi nổi, PMI Vietnam Chapter đã tổ chức sự kiện Year End Party tại Hà Nội ngày 13/01/2024.

Nhân sự kiện này, Lễ ký kết MOU giữa PMI Vietnam Chapter và các nhà tài trợ Bạch Kim: PMA và iPMAC đã diễn ra trang trọng. Các nhà tài trợ Bạch Kim PMA và iPMAC, Nhà tài trợ Vàng: Weldtec JSC., các nhà tài trợ Bạc và Đồng cũng nhận được những Giấy chứng nhận và những phần quà kỷ niệm.

Các thành viên của Chapter và khách mời đã cùng nhìn lại video clip giới thiệu các hoạt động của đa dạng do PMI Vietnam Chapter tổ chức đã diễn ra trong năm qua, được thực hiện với đội ngũ tình nguyện viên tích cực lên đến 90 người.

Năm 2023, đã có hơn 40 sự kiện các loại, với nhiều chủ đề khác nhau, bao gồm các sự kiện outreach đến các trường đại học và các doanh nghiệp, các webinar, offline workshop; và các sự kiện mà Chapter là đồng tổ chức hoặc là đối tác truyền thông.

Phần giới thiệu 5 giá trị văn hóa của PMI: Make I Easy, Aim Higher, Be Welcoming, Embrace Curiosity và Together We Can với các động tác vui nhộn đã tạo nên những tiếng cười sảng khoái của những người tham dự.

Tiếp đó, ở phần phát biểu khai mạc, Ông Đặng Ngọc Hòa, Chủ tịch PMI Vietnam Chapter đã vui mừng thông báo những thống kê ấn tượng: đầu năm 2024 số lượng PMP tại Việt Nam đạt gần 4000 người, số thành viên của Chapter đạt mốc kỷ lục là 400 người (so với hơn 180 người đầu năm 2023), hơn 40 mentor của Project Professional Team (PP Team) đã tổ chức 15 lớp ôn luyện các chứng chỉ của PMI, đóng góp hơn 700 giờ làm việc, giúp 33 học viên thi đậu các chứng chỉ PMP và PMI-ACP với kết quả cao. Ông Hòa cũng cám ơn sự đồng hành của các nhà tài trợ, và hy vọng các hoạt động của Chapter sẽ càng sôi nổi, đa dạng và chất lượng hơn trong thời gian tới.

Với những đóng góp tích cực, các Team thuộc Chapter đã được trao những phần quả kỷ niệm xinh xắn, do chính thành viên của Chapter thiết kế.

Chương trình được tiếp nối với bài phát biểu keynote từ diễn giả Quách Lê Trương, PP Team Leader của PMI Vietnam Chapter, với chủ đề “Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Sharings” (tạm dịch: Thời đại trí tuệ nhân tạo (AI) – Những chia sẻ).

Diễn giả Trương đã tóm lược tình hình việc trình làng, phát triển và xu hướng sử dụng các ứng dụng AI (ChatGPT, New Bing, GPT-4, Bard, xAI, v.v… từ các công ty nổi tiếng trên thế giới trong năm 2023, Generative AI overview for Project Manager từ PMI, và đặc biệt là PhoGPT và ViGPT do các công ty Việt Nam phát triển); xu hướng phát triển AI trong năm 2024 & Tương lai trong ngành quản lý dự án.

Ông Trương cũng chia sẻ những cảm nhận của bản thân từ Tò mò & Hứng thú; Lo lắng & Sợ hãi; Đối mặt & Tìm hiểu; để Tự tin & ứng dụng; rồi Chia sẻ & Phát triển. “Hãy tỉnh táo và tự tin cập nhật thông tin. AI Không đáng sợ như mình nghĩ”, Ông Trương kết luận.

Phần tiệc của chương trình mở đầu với bài phỏng vấn bỏ túi tại chỗ từ MC vui nhộn có nickname là “Tiến Ưa Nhìn” với bạn Trần Danh Thành, một thành viên của Study Group, từ Mentee, thi đỗ chứng chỉ của PMI và quay lại đóng góp cho Chapter với vai trò Mentor.

Marking the end of a year full of exciting activities, PMI Vietnam Chapter organized the Year End Party event in Hanoi on January 13, 2024.

On this occasion, the MOU Signing Ceremony between PMI Vietnam Chapter and Platinum sponsors: PMA and iPMAC took place solemnly. PMA and iPMAC and Gold Sponsor: Weldtec JSC, Silver and Bronze sponsors also receive Certificates and commemorative gifts.

Chapter members and guests looked back at video clips introducing diversity activities organized by PMI Vietnam Chapter that took place over the past year, carried out by a team of active volunteers of up to 90 people.

In 2023, there were more than 40 events of all kinds, with many different topics, including outreach events to universities and companies; webinars, offline workshops; and events co-organized by Chapter or joined by Chapter as a media partner.

The mini-game of introducing of PMI’s 5 cultural values: Make I Easy, Aim Higher, Be Welcoming, Embrace Curiosity and Together We Can with fun movements from participants created laughter from the attendees.

Next, in the opening speech, Mr. Dang Ngoc Hoa, President of PMI Vietnam Chapter, happily announced impressive statistics: at the beginning of 2024, the number of PMPs in Vietnam reached nearly 4,000, the number of members of the Chapter reaching a record milestone of 400 people (compared to more than 180 people at the beginning of 2023), more than 40 mentors of the Project Professional Team (PP Team) organized 15 free classes for PMI certifications, contributing more than 700 hours of work, helped 33 students passed the PMP and PMI-ACP certifications with high records. Mr. Hoa also thanked the sponsors for their companionship, and hoped that the Chapter’s activities would be more exciting, diverse and of better quality in the future.

For their positive contributions, the Teams of the Chapter were awarded lovely commemorative rewards, designed by the Chapter members themselves.

The program was followed by a keynote from speaker Quach Le Truong, PP Team Leader of PMI Vietnam Chapter: “Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Sharings”.

Mr. Truong summarized the launch, development and usage trends of AI applications (ChatGPT, New Bing, GPT-4, Bard, xAI, etc. from big companies around the world in 2023, Generative AI overview for Project Manager from PMI, and especially PhoGPT and ViGPT developed by Vietnamese companies); AI development trends in 2024 & Future in project management.

Mr. Truong also shared his attitude toward AI: Curiosity & Interest; Anxiety & Fear; Face & Learn; to Confidence & application; then Share & Grow. “Be alert and confidently update information. AI is not as scary as you thought,” Mr. Truong concluded.

The party part of the program opened with an on-the-spot interview from a funny MC nicknamed “Tien- The Good-looking Guy” with Mr. Tran Danh Thanh, a member of Study Group who used to be a Mentee of Study Group organized by PP Team, who passed the PMI certification exam and returned to contribute to the program as Mentor.

After the interview, MC Tien changed his role to a singer, with a lively song that stirred up the auditorium.

The party took place happily with networking activities between Chapter members, sponsors and guests, good songs from homegrown singers.

IPMAC ký kết MOU trở thành nhà tài trợ Bạch Kim cho PMI Vietnam Chapter

Chiều ngày 13/01/2024, tại Hà Nội, đã diễn ra Lễ ký kết Biên bản ghi nhớ (MOU) giữa PMI Vietnam Chapter (PMI VN) và Học viện Công nghệ thông tin IPMAC (IPMAC). IPMAC trở thành Nhà tài trợ Bạch kim, đồng hành cùng PMI VN trong các sự kiện liên quan đến quản lý dự án trong năm 2024.

Lễ ký kết MOU và việc iPMAC được công nhận là Nhà tài trợ Bạch kim đánh dấu sự khởi đầu của mối quan hệ hợp tác năng động và cùng có lợi giữa hai đơn vị. Sự hợp tác này tạo tiền đề cho các cơ hội phát triển chuyên môn nâng cao, chia sẻ kiến thức và ý thức cộng đồng được củng cố trong lĩnh vực quản lý dự án.
Với tư cách là Nhà tài trợ Bạch kim, iPMAC sẽ đóng vai trò then chốt trong việc hỗ trợ các chương trình, sự kiện và sáng kiến đa dạng của PMI Vietnam Chapter nhằm thúc đẩy nghề quản lý dự án. Hy vọng sự hợp tác này sẽ tạo ra tác động tích cực đến cộng đồng quản lý dự án ở Việt Nam.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by PMI Vietnam Chapter

(PMI VN) and IPMAC Academy of Information Technology (IPMAC) on January 13, 2024, in Hanoi. IPMAC becomes a Platinum Sponsor, accompanying PMI VN in events related to project management in 2024.

The MOU Signing Ceremony and iPMAC’s designation as a Platinum Sponsor mark the beginning of a dynamic and mutually beneficial partnership between two entities dedicated to shaping the future of project management in Vietnam. Chiều ngày 13/01/2024, tại Hà Nội, đã diễn ra Lễ ký kết Biên bản ghi nhớ (MOU) về việc hợp tác giữa PMI Vietnam Chapter (PMI VN) và Công Ty Cổ Phần Học Viện Quản Lý Chuyên Nghiệp (PMA), ghi nhận PMA trở thành nhà tài trợ Bạch Kim của PMI VN. Tham dự buổi lễ có sự hiện diện của đại diện Ban Lãnh đạo PMA, các thành viên Ban Điều Hành của PMI VN.

Trong năm 2024, PMI Vietnam Chapter là đối tác truyền thông,  đối tác đào tạo, đồng hành cùng PMA trong việc tổ chức các sự kiện về quản lý dự án.

MOU Signing Ceremony Between PMI Vietnam Chapter and PMA

On the afternoon of January 13, 2024, in Hanoi, a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony took place between PMI Vietnam Chapter (PMI VN) and Professional Management Academy Joint Stock Company (PMA). Attending the ceremony were the presence of the PMA Board of Directors and members of the Board Members of PMI VN.

Becoming a Platinum sponsor of PMI Vietnam Chapter in 2024, PMA will have PMI VN as a media partner, training partner, and co-organizer of events / workshops relating to project management.
